Report of the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation
Following 9-months of global consultation and deliberation,
the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation submitted its report to the UN Secretary-General on Monday June 11, 2019
The report highlights the urgency of improved global cooperation to avoid further fragmentation of digital spaces, and exacerbation of digital divides. It makes 5 sets of recommendations to:
Build an inclusive digital economy and society
Develop human and institutional capacity
Protect human rights and human agency
Promote digital trust, security and stability
Foster global digital cooperation
